Undergraduate:
All the applications from the international students are processed by Universities and Colleges Admissions Service (UCAS), an authorised body which looks after admissions and placements. Applications should be sent a year earlier or more to the course start date. After obtaining an acceptance letter from the UCAS, a student will be eligible to apply to 5 different courses in universities listed by the UCAS. They have wide options to choose various universities and courses. One can apply to 5 different courses at the same university or 5 different universities for the same course. Indian students can apply amid September 1st to June 30th in the year prior to the academic year. For some courses, applications should be submitted as early as mid October
Masters:
There is no system of centralized application service (CAS) for master’s degrees like undergraduation. A student has to apply to each university separately. The application forms are available at respective university websites. In general, Masters starts in September in many universities, while some universities may have multiple dates. The deadlines for application submissions are quite earlier for students belonging to India than for UK and European students.
